Visible Roofers

How it works

Straight answers. Pick your question.

No buzzwords. Tap the one you care about. Not here? Bring it to the audit — we'll answer it the same plain way.

Q1

What is this, in plain English?

Getting your company named when a homeowner asks an AI for a roofer — ChatGPT, Copilot, Google's AI summary. Not ranking on a page. Being one of the names it reads out.

Homeowners are skipping Google. They ask ChatGPT. They read Google's AI summary at the top of the page. They ask Copilot on their phone. The AI says something like "a few well-reviewed options in your area are…" and reads off a handful of companies. Our job is getting yours to be one of those names, as often as we can. (The trade calls this "AEO," for Answer Engine Optimization. The name doesn't matter. The count does.)

Q2

How's this different from the SEO I already pay for?

SEO competes for a spot on a fixed ranked list. AI writes a fresh answer every time and names a few companies. There's no list to hold a position in.

Your Maps ranking still matters. We don't throw it out. But sitting at #1 on Maps doesn't mean an AI knows you exist. More than half the businesses winning local search never show up in AI answers. Ask the same AI the same question 100 times and the names change nearly every time. That's why "your AI rank is #3" is a number nobody can honestly hand you.

Q3

So what do you actually do?

Four jobs, in roughly this order.

  1. 1 · Count how often AI names you We ask the engines your real service-area questions, over and over, and count how often your name comes back. That's your baseline.
  2. 2 · Fix your Google profile It's the data AI leans on hardest, the fastest to move, and the most fixable — so we pull it first.
  3. 3 · Get reviews over the bar We check your rating against the floor AI applies. Under it? That's the first job, and we'll say so to your face.
  4. 4 · Build outside proof Real mentions of you on the sites AI reads. Slow, unflashy, and it's the part that lasts.

Then we keep counting. The field shifts in weeks, and a setup that worked last quarter can quietly stop working. The full reasoning is on the methodology page.

Q4

How long until I see something?

The profile work moves fastest. The outside proof is the slow, durable part. Months, not days.

Better to set that now than have you feel misled in week three. AI search is still a small slice of traffic today. But it's growing fast, and the slots in that answer are few. Being one of the early names, before your competitors get there, is the whole play. Anyone promising overnight AI visibility is selling you a fairy tale.

Q5

What if my reviews aren't there yet?

We'll tell you straight. AI drops roofers below about 4 stars, no matter what else is right.

The best evidence we have, held as evidence — not a rule anyone published.

Below the bar, no amount of our work gets you named until that number comes up. So your reviews become the first job. We'll say so, instead of taking your money and tinkering at the edges.

Q6

What does it cost?

It starts with a paid audit. If you move forward, that fee is credited toward the work.

A flat audit fee, credited if you hire us — not free, not a mystery, just sized to your metros once we see them. The audit itself is a real measurement, not a sales call with a report stapled to it. Ongoing pricing tracks how many metros you want covered. We walk you through the exact numbers in the audit conversation. We don't hide them. We just won't quote them before we know what you actually need.

Q7

How do I know it's actually working?

Every cycle you get a count with the sample size. "7 of 10 this week, up from 4." Real, checkable, no invented rank.

What we won't hand you is a precise count of leads "from AI." Homeowners don't say "ChatGPT sent me." The clean attribution data doesn't exist yet. We instrument your intake as far as the tools allow, and we stay honest about where the measured number ends and the guess begins. If a number is shaky, you don't get it. Pending beats wrong.

Start with your count.

The audit points the whole system at your business. You get how often AI names you right now, and exactly where the gaps are.
